Leica III (Model F)
The Leica III (Model F), introduced in 1933, was a significant evolution in the Barnack Leica lineage. It was the first model to feature a separate slow-speed shutter dial on the front of the body, allowing for speeds down to 1 second. Built with the Leica Thread Mount (LTM), it includes a 1.5x magnification rangefinder window to assist with precise focusing.
