Voigtländer Ultron 35mm f/2 Aspherical Type I VM Vintage Line - Leica M mount
Voigtländer Ultron 35mm f/2 Aspherical Type I is a compact manual-focus prime lens for Leica M, offering a fast f/2 aperture. This Vintage Line version is designed for rangefinder use and is known for a solid metal build, a classic rendering with modern optical correction, and a small enough size to suit both film and digital M bodies. At 35mm it is a versatile focal length for street, documentary, travel and everyday shooting, while the aspherical design helps control distortion and maintain good sharpness across the frame. The Type I version is the slimmer, more traditional-looking option in the Ultron 35mm f/2 family, making it appealing to photographers who want a discreet lens with a vintage profile. Focus and aperture are fully manual, so it rewards careful technique and works especially well on Leica M cameras and compatible rangefinder bodies. Used buyers should check the mount for wear, smoothness of focus and aperture rings, accurate rangefinder coupling, and the glass for haze, fungus, scratches or internal dust.
