Designed for high-resolution digital sensors, it delivers high micro-contrast and a distinctive '3D' look. The all-metal barrel is weather-sealed, making it suitable for professional use in varied conditions. Check for any signs of wear on the rubberised focus ring, which can occasionally attract dust or become tacky if stored poorly. For Nikon versions, the aperture ring should click cleanly; for Canon versions, the aperture is controlled electronically.
