Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 35mm f/2 Aspherical II Z - Nikon Z
Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 35mm f/2 Aspherical II Z Nikon Z is a manual-focus prime lens with APO-corrected full-frame rendering. Built for Nikon Z bodies, it offers a classic 35mm field of view that suits street, documentary and everyday use, while the fast f/2 aperture gives useful subject separation and solid low-light capability. The APO-Lanthar design is known for very strong correction of chromatic aberration and impressively high sharpness across the frame, with excellent contrast and a refined, modern look rather than vintage character. As a Voigtländer lens, it is fully mechanical in use and appeals to photographers who prefer deliberate focusing and a compact, well-made metal barrel over autofocus convenience. The 35mm focal length makes it versatile for full-frame mirrorless users who want a single walkabout lens with premium optical performance and a controlled, balanced size. When buying used, check smoothness of the focusing helicoid, aperture ring feel, front and rear element condition, and any signs of haze, fungus or impact damage; also confirm the mount is clean and free of wear.
