The Sony Digital Mavica MVC-FD85 is a higher-specification version of the floppy-disk-based Mavica series, offering a 1.3-megapixel resolution. It features a 3x optical zoom lens and an InfoLithium battery system for more accurate power monitoring. Images are recorded to 3.5-inch floppy disks in JPEG format, with the option to record short MPEG movie clips.
The internal disk drive is the primary wear point; SDS performs thorough read/write tests to ensure the drive head is aligned and functioning correctly. We also check the condition of the LCD screen for backlight evenness and verify that the lens iris and shutter assembly operate within original specifications. Ensure the battery charger is included, as these use proprietary Sony connectors.
