This telephoto zoom lens provides a versatile range for wildlife and sports photography on full-frame DSLRs. It features Sigma's Optical Stabiliser (OS) and a Hypersonic Motor (HSM) for quiet, high-speed autofocus. The lens construction includes three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements to reduce chromatic aberrations across the zoom range. It is designed to offer a more portable alternative to heavier 500mm primes.
Wear on the external 'Zen' matte finish is common on older Sigma units and should be inspected.
