Nikon F90

The Nikon F90 (known as the N90 in North America) is a high-performance 35mm SLR camera that bridged the gap between consumer and professional models in the 1990s. It features a fast autofocus system, a 1/8000s top shutter speed, and advanced 3D Matrix Metering when used with D-type lenses. It is a robust tool for film enthusiasts, offering various exposure modes and compatibility with a vast range of F-mount lenses. A common fault with the F90 is the degradation of the rubberised coating on the rear film door, which often becomes sticky or tacky to the touch. This can be cleaned, but it is a frequent wear point.
