Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G ED - Nikon F Mount

The AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G ED is a fast prime lens for full-frame Nikon DSLRs. Unlike the DX version, this ED model covers the FX sensor, providing a classic moderate wide-angle perspective favoured by documentary and street photographers. The optical design includes an ED element to minimise chromatic aberrations and an aspherical element to control distortion. Its f/1.8 maximum aperture allows for effective subject separation and shooting in challenging lighting conditions. Used units should be inspected for the condition of the rubber grip on the focus ring, which can sometimes expand or become loose over time. SDS tests the autofocus speed and accuracy, as well as the mechanical operation of the manual focus override. As with many G-series primes, the rear element is somewhat exposed, so check for any scratches. We also ensure that the lens mount is true and that electronic communication with the camera body is seamless.
