The AF Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED VR was Nikon's first lens to feature Vibration Reduction technology. Covering a versatile telephoto range, it is suited to wildlife and sports photography. As a 'D' type lens, it relies on the camera's internal motor for autofocus (screwdriver drive) and includes a physical aperture ring, making it compatible with a wide range of older Nikon film and digital bodies.
