The Sekor C 150mm f/4 Soft Focus is a specialised portrait lens for the Mamiya M645 system. It utilises three interchangeable perforated discs (sieve plates) to control the degree of spherical aberration, allowing photographers to create a glowing, soft-focus effect while maintaining a sharp core image. Without a disc, it functions as a standard, albeit slightly softer, telephoto lens. When inspecting this lens, it is critical to verify if the original soft-focus discs are included, as they are difficult to source separately. The adjustment ring for the soft-focus effect should rotate smoothly.
