Leica Q-P

The Leica Q-P is a refined version of the original Q (Typ 116), featuring a 24.2-megapixel full-frame sensor and the Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH lens. This model is distinguished by its matte black paint finish, the omission of the traditional red Leica dot in favour of a classic script engraving on the top plate, and an improved shutter release button. It retains the fast autofocus and excellent low-light performance of the standard model in a more discreet aesthetic. The matte black finish on the Q-P is more prone to showing marks and oils than the standard anodised finish, so inspect the body for 'shiny' patches of wear. As with all Q models, check for internal sensor dust by stopping the lens down to f/16. SDS tests the haptic feedback of the dials and ensures the EVF is clear. Verify that the original metal lens cap, specific to this model, is included as it is expensive to replace.
