By removing the colour filter, the camera achieves high levels of micro-contrast and a broad dynamic range. It features 256GB of internal memory, a large 1800mAh battery, and a baseplate-free design for direct access to the battery and SD card slot. The aluminium top plate helps reduce weight compared to traditional brass models.
