The Canon RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM is an ultra-wide zoom lens specifically designed for APS-C R-series mirrorless cameras. It offers a 16-29mm equivalent focal range, making it excellent for vlogging, landscapes, and interior photography where space is limited. The lens features an Optical Image Stabilizer providing up to 4 stops of shake correction, and a lead-screw type STM motor for smooth, silent autofocus during video recording. Its retractable design makes it extremely portable. Check that the retraction mechanism operates smoothly and that the lens is recognised immediately by the camera body when extended.
