The Canon RF 10-20mm f/4L IS STM is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for the RF mount, offering a unique focal range previously unavailable in rectilinear lenses. Despite its extreme width, it incorporates 5 stops of optical image stabilisation, which is specifically tuned to compensate for 'peripheral blur' often seen in wide-angle shots. The lens is remarkably compact and lightweight for its class, featuring a built-in petal-type hood and a rear gelatin filter holder. Inspect the front element carefully, as the bulbous glass is susceptible to contact marks even with the built-in hood. Ensure the STM motor moves the internal groups smoothly and silently.
