The Canon EF 600mm f/4L USM is a first-generation super-telephoto lens for the EF mount. It features a fast f/4 maximum aperture and L-series optical quality, including fluorite and ultra-low dispersion elements to correct chromatic aberrations. It uses an Ultrasonic Motor (USM) for fast autofocus and features a focus preset function. As a professional sports and wildlife lens, it is built with a rugged, weather-resistant magnesium alloy barrel.
