Yashica TL Electro

The Yashica TL Electro is a sturdy 35mm SLR camera featuring an M42 screw mount, making it compatible with a vast array of vintage lenses. Released in the late 1960s, it was notable for using electronic circuits for its "stop-down" metering system, indicated by lights in the viewfinder rather than a traditional needle. It features a vertical-travel focal plane shutter with speeds from 1 to 1/1000th of a second and a self-timer. The electronic metering system requires specific batteries; ensure the compartment is clean and the lights activate when the metering lever is engaged.
