Samyang VDSLR 50mm T1.5 MK2

The Samyang VDSLR 50mm T1.5 MK2 is a standard focal length cinema lens updated with weather sealing and a nine-blade aperture for improved bokeh. It offers full-frame coverage and features industry-standard 0.8 MOD gears on both the focus and aperture rings. The fast T1.5 maximum aperture provides excellent low-light performance and shallow depth of field. This MK2 version also includes focal length scales on both sides of the lens barrel to assist camera assistants and focus pullers. Used examples should be checked for the integrity of the weather seals and the smoothness of the long-throw manual focus. The geared rings are harder wearing than the previous generation but still require inspection for impact damage. SDS verifies that the iris blades are free from oil and that the de-clicked movement is consistent. As a lens often used in video rigs, the barrel should be inspected for signs of clamping pressure or scratches from matte boxes.
