The Samyang 35mm T1.5 Cine AS UMC II is a full-frame compatible cine lens featuring a bright T1.5 aperture and a de-clicked iris. The Mark II version features improved housing and unified gear positions to facilitate easier lens swaps within the Samyang VDSLR ecosystem. Its optical construction includes aspherical elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and maintain high resolution across the frame.
When sourcing a used Mark II, SDS checks the integrity of the focus gears for signs of stripped teeth or excessive wear from follow-focus units. The de-clicked aperture ring should move smoothly without any rough spots.
