The Minolta XE-5 is a 35mm manual focus SLR produced during the mid-1970s. As a more affordable alternative to the XE-7, it retains the smooth Leitz-designed vertical-travel metal focal plane shutter. It offers aperture-priority auto-exposure and full manual control, using the Minolta SR mount.
