Konica Hexanon AR 28mm f/3.5 - Minolta SR/MD/MC

Konica Hexanon AR 28mm f/3.5 is a manual-focus wide-angle prime lens for Konica AR-mount film SLRs. This compact 28mm sits in the classic moderate-wide category, giving a natural perspective for street, travel and general everyday shooting on 35mm film. The f/3.5 maximum aperture is modest by modern standards, but it helped keep the lens small and generally sharp across the frame when stopped down, which is where many users value it most. Konica Hexanon lenses are well regarded for solid metal construction, smooth focusing and pleasant rendering, and this model follows that reputation with a straightforward mechanical feel and a practical filter size. On adapted digital bodies it can be an affordable manual wide-angle option, though it remains fully manual and requires stop-down operation on most mounts. Used-market checks should focus on smooth focusing, aperture blade oil or sluggishness, front and rear element scratches, internal haze, dust and fungus, plus wear to the AR mount and any adapter fit if supplied.
