Konica Hexanon AR 135mm f/3.5 - Minolta SR/MD/MC

Konica Hexanon AR 135mm f/3.5 is a manual-focus telephoto lens with a 135mm focal length and f/3.5 maximum aperture. Built for Konica AR-mount SLRs, it is a compact, straightforward prime that suits portrait, detail and general telephoto use, with the simple handling and solid mechanical feel typical of late-1970s manual lenses. Compared with faster 135mm alternatives, it is lighter and easier to carry, but it is also less suited to very low light or strong subject separation. On adapted digital bodies it can still be a useful, characterful lens, though performance will depend on the adapter and camera focus aids. The Hexanon line is generally well regarded for good central sharpness and pleasing rendering, and this lens follows that practical, no-nonsense approach. When buying used, check for smooth focus action, clean aperture blades, haze, fungus, cleaning marks and any oil on the diaphragm, and inspect the rear and front elements for scratches or separation.
