The Zeiss Milvus 2.8/15 is an ultra-wide-angle manual focus lens for Nikon F-mount cameras. Utilising the Distagon optical design, it incorporates two aspheric elements and special glass with anomalous partial dispersion to control distortion and aberrations. The lens features a 110-degree field of view and a built-in lens hood, making it suitable for architectural, interior, and landscape photography where edge-to-edge sharpness is required.
The large bulbous front element is susceptible to marks, so inspect the coating carefully. The manual focus ring should operate with consistent damping throughout its rotation. SDS checks the ZF.2 electronic contacts for communication with the camera body and ensures the aperture blades are free from oil and react promptly.
