Sony NP-F970
Sony NP-F970 battery pack with high-capacity Li-Ion power for compatible cameras and video gear. This is part of Sony’s long-running InfoLITHIUM NP-F style battery family, widely used in camcorders, on-camera lights, field monitors and other accessories that accept the NP-F form factor. The NP-F970 is the large-capacity version in the range, chosen when longer runtime matters more than compact size, and it is commonly bought for rigs that need dependable external power over a full shooting day. As with other NP-F batteries, the main benefit is simple swap-and-go convenience and broad third-party accessory support, rather than advanced charging features. Used examples should be checked carefully for age-related capacity loss, charging behaviour, swollen casing, damaged terminals, looseness in the device bay and any signs of overheating or rough handling.
