Sirui Saturn 35mm T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic - Fujifilm X
Sirui Saturn 35mm T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic is a compact manual cine lens with a wide cinematic squeeze. This 35mm model delivers the distinctive 1.6x anamorphic look, giving a broader horizontal field of view and the familiar oval bokeh, edge flare and stretched perspective that many creators want for narrative work, music videos and stylised commercial shoots. The Saturn range is known for its relatively light carbon-fibre construction, making it easier to rig on mirrorless bodies, gimbals and small shoulder setups than traditional anamorphic glass. With a T2.9 maximum aperture, it is suited to controlled low-light work and shallow-depth-of-field shooting, but like most anamorphic primes it rewards careful focus pulling and deliberate composition. The lens is fully manual, so it suits users who are comfortable working with external focus aids and who value a consistent cine feel over autofocus convenience. Exact mount variants vary, so check the fitting carefully before buying used. When inspecting a second-hand copy, check the mount for wear, the focusing action for smoothness, front and rear elements for scratches, haze or fungus, and ensure the anamorphic alignment and aperture markings are intact and accurate.
