It utilizes the Praktica B-mount and features aperture-priority automatic exposure, with shutter speeds ranging from 1 second to 1/1000 sec. The camera includes a vertical-travel metal focal plane shutter and a bright viewfinder with a split-image rangefinder for manual focusing. It requires a 6V PX28 battery to operate the electronic shutter and light meter.
