The Olympus OM-1 is a classic 35mm film SLR known for its exceptionally compact and mechanical design. Introduced in 1972, it features a large, bright viewfinder and a mechanical shutter capable of speeds up to 1/1000 sec. Unlike many contemporaries, the shutter speed dial is located around the lens mount. The camera is fully functional without a battery, which is only required for the built-in light meter.
