A lighter, compact 6x6 TLR featuring the Mamiya interchangeable lens system.
The Mamiya C220 Professional is a lightweight, more compact version of Mamiya's interchangeable lens TLR system. It produces 6x6cm images on 120 or 220 roll film and retains the bellows focusing system for excellent macro capabilities. Unlike the C330, the C220 uses a simpler film advance knob and requires manual shutter cocking on the lens, making it a popular choice for photographers who prefer a less bulky medium format setup.
Look for smooth operation of the side-mounted focusing knobs and ensure the bellows are light-tight. The lens mount should be clean to ensure proper seating of the interchangeable lens pairs. SDS checks the accuracy of the film counter and the condition of the light seals around the removable back.
