Leica SL (Typ 601)

The Leica SL (Typ 601) is a full-frame mirrorless digital camera built around a 24-megapixel CMOS sensor. Milled from solid blocks of aluminium, it features a high-resolution 4.4-megapixel EyeRes electronic viewfinder and a weather-sealed body. It is designed for professional use, offering fast autofocus and compatibility with L-mount lenses, as well as M-mount lenses via an adapter. The internal buffer and 11 fps burst rate make it capable for action and reportage. Inspect used units for wear on the rubber port covers and the rear joystick, which can lose its tactile click over time. The sensor should be checked for dust or marks, as the large mount opening makes it susceptible during lens changes. SDS verifies the EVF for dead pixels and ensures the dual SD card slots are functioning correctly. Cosmetic wear on the sharp edges of the body is common but rarely affects performance.
