Hoya 77mm ProND 1000
Hoya ProND 1000 77mm is a fixed neutral density filter, offering a very strong 10-stop light reduction for stills and video work. It suits lenses with a 77mm filter thread and is used to extend exposure time, allow wider apertures in bright conditions, or keep shutter speed and frame rate where you want them for cinematic motion blur. The ProND range is known for a slim, practical build and for avoiding the colour casts and image softening that can affect poorer ND filters, making it a sensible choice for landscape, long exposure and video shooters who need consistent density. Because this is a passive optical accessory rather than an electronic item, there is no battery, mount, autofocus or stabilisation to check, but used examples should be inspected carefully for scratches, coating wear, cleaning marks, dust, haze, chips and any signs of thread damage or ring deformation. Make sure the filter screws on smoothly and sits flat, and confirm that any front accessory thread is still usable if you plan to stack filters or use a cap.
