GoPro Fusion

The Fusion was GoPro's first foray into 360-degree video, featuring two lenses to capture 5.2K spherical content. It utilizes OverCapture technology, allowing users to punch out standard 1080p frames from any angle of the 360 sphere during post-production. The camera is waterproof to 5 metres without a housing and includes advanced electronic stabilisation. It requires two microSD cards to record data from both sensors simultaneously, which are then stitched together via software. Check both bulbous lenses for any scratches or scuffs, as these are highly exposed and difficult to repair. The side doors covering the battery and ports should click shut securely to maintain water resistance. We verify that both card slots read and write correctly, as a failure in one prevents 360 recording. The rubberised finish can sometimes become tacky over time, so the physical condition of the body should be assessed carefully.
