The Canon EOS D30, released in 2000, was Canon's first DSLR designed and manufactured entirely in-house. It features a 3.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, an EF lens mount, and a 3-point autofocus system. While low in resolution by modern standards, it is noted for its smooth, film-like image quality and compatibility with the vast range of Canon EF lenses.
