Bronica Zenzanon-MC 50mm f/2.8
Bronica Zenzanon-MC 50mm f/2.8 is a Bronica medium-format prime lens with a wide-angle 50mm view. This lens was made for Bronica interchangeable-lens systems, and the exact mount variant depends on the camera body it is fitted to, so the mount is recorded as Bronica rather than a modern interchangeable standard. The 50mm focal length gives a moderately wide perspective on 6x6 and a more natural wide-angle feel on smaller medium-format frames, making it useful for landscapes, architecture and general work where you want a bit more coverage without extreme perspective. The f/2.8 maximum aperture is bright for focusing and framing, while the MC multicoating helps control flare and maintain contrast. As with many Bronica-era lenses, handling is straightforward and manual, with the emphasis on solid mechanical operation rather than automation. Used buyers should check that the aperture blades are clean and snappy, the focusing action is smooth, the shutter and aperture ring if present operate evenly, and that there is no haze, fungus, separation or excessive wear to the mount and filter threads.
