About SDS
SDS is a London-based platform focused on buying and selling used retro camera gear.
We’re not a traditional camera store. We’re building a modern, system-driven platform designed to make it faster, easier, and more reliable to buy and sell camera equipment. Our focus today is retro cameras but our long-term goal is much bigger. We’re building towards a platform that handles all types of camera gear, and eventually other categories of tech.
At the core of SDS is a simple belief: too much good technology goes to waste. There are huge amounts of cameras sitting unused, broken, or forgotten. We exist to bring that gear back to life, repairing, refurbishing, and putting it back into the hands of people who actually want to use it. We believe in a circular economy where products are reused, not discarded.
This isn’t a polished corporate environment. It’s hands-on, evolving, and built by people who want to create something meaningful. If you're interested in camera gear, tech, and being in a startup environment you’ll fit right in.
